Baby's First Christmas...
Merry Christmas everyone! Santa came to see me last night! He brought me a Little Touch Leap Pad just like I wanted!
I hope everyone else had a great Christmas.
Love,
Baby Will

Vomit free since '93...
Well at least Ted Mosby has been vomit free since '93. However, I have been vomit free since only 8:00 AM...11:30 AM...8:00 PM
I hate being sick!
I hate being sick!

And to Love I rhapsodize ...
The shackles are undone
The bullets quit the gun
The heat that’s in the sun
Will keep us when there’s none
The rule has been disproved
The stone it has been moved
The grave is now a groove
All debts are removed
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
Oh can’t you see what love has done?
What it’s done to me?
The rest of the lyrics are here.
This is U2's newest single, Window in the Skies. It is yet another awesome song sung to "Love," the very love that saw the stone moved away, the grave emptied, and our sins atoned...
Yes Bono, We can see what Love has done to you...
But the real question is can the world see what Love has done to us?

Will as Han Solo...
It has been kinda cold this last couple of days. Tonight, as I put will in his car seat, I had an immediate flashback to when I was a kid. On my fourth birthday, I had a Star Wars birthday cake. On it was a "Han Solo in Hoth Gear" action figure. The way Will is dressed in this picture looks alot like that action figure. So enjoy Will playing the role of Han Solo on the planet Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back.

cuddling with mommy...
I've had a big day with Daddy today! It was Championship Saturday in college football. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets lost today. How sad... But here is the good news: Reggie Ball only has one more game! Also, UCLA beat USC; Florida beat Arkansas; and the Huskers are battling the Sooners.
Anyway, I'm all tuckered out and it is only half time. Have a good night everyone...
GO BIG RED!

Snow Days...
We've had snow days here in DFW for the last two days. On Wednesday it was 79 degrees, but shortly after sundown and "Arctic Blast" occurred. Within an hour the temperature dropped some 45 degrees! It really did get really cold really fast. Nevertheless, we also ended up getting some rain then sleet then freezing rain then snow.
Having spent a winter in Nebraska, I know that wintry weather is not really as bad as people expect. And given the amount of snow and ice visible in the above photo, you may wonder as to why we got out of not just one day, but two days of school...
1. This is north Texas...
2. People don't know how to drive in wintry weather...
3. There are a lot of interstates around here...
4. These interstates have large elevated bridges that become treacherous rather quickly...
5. See #2... (rinse and repeat)
Anyway, I'm hoping for a few more good ice storms this winter. :o)
(BTW, you can check out my posts about the ice storm from this time last year here, or by just clicking on the label below called weather.)
