Baby update...

We went to the doctor again today. Today's visit set a new gynecological speed record. We were sent straight to the back when we arrived. The doctor checked Valerie out and we were back out the door in less than 15 minutes.

Valerie is still not dialated at all. But she is a little bit closer. If nothing has happened by next week, then the doctor will probably schedule an induction.

William's new rides...

William got some new rides recently. Up top, you will see Will's papasan bouncy seat and papasan swing. Below you will see Will's new car seat/infant carrier in its fancy fold up lightweight stroller. These guys are gonna get a lot of work in just a few days!

Val had me do some more construction work in William's room. I put together the "globe shelf." It is shaped like a sliver out of a sphere. It's pretty cool shaped.

We also hung the little sign that Amy Tunnell gave us.

Shower of blessings...

Thank you to everyone from Valerie's work for the baby shower. I would like to say that I know what the cake tasted like, but I let Valerie eat the piece that she brought home to me. She told me that William wanted it, so how could I not?

Is it just me or is ABC openly pulling for the Miami Heat or what? It is all Dwayne Wade all the time...And when it's not, then it's Shaq...

hot mama, part 8 1/4 ...

Here is another picture of Valerie. I took it earlier today on my first Father's day. Little William is beginning to take the shape of a good sized Thanksgiving turkey. Valerie is just about ready for William to come on out and sleep in his own bed. :o)

rain, rain, ...

It's raining! And I forgot to park on the right side of the road. I parked on the west side of the road, which is apt for flooding. Anyway, sorry for being away for so long. We've been really busy with Vacation Bible School.

Here's hoping that the electricity doesn't go out...

Julie was concerned that we did not have the supplies that she thinks we should have. So, we went and got some stuff. Hopefully, this will meet her inspection.

Getting Ready for Mema (& Pop)...

Here is the futon all folded down and ready for Mema and Pop. I sure hope that it is as comfy for them as it is for me!
